The Ultimate Travel Backup Solution

Portability is key! Who wants to carry a laptop when traveling for a short road trip? I don’t know about you, but editing photos on vacation does not sound like a vacation. When searching for a portable backup solution that would not require a laptop to backup your photos, as many did, I came across the RAVPower RP-WD03 FileHub - a small all-in-one solution. To backup your photos all you need is an SD card with the photos, phone, portable hard drive (I use the 250GB Samsung T3 Ext SSD), and introducing this all-in-one FileHub. This small device allows you to insert your SD card into it and connect to your portable hard drive to transfer your photos via your phone. The app displays the data on both the SD card and hard drive just like how it would display if you were to access this device on the computer. You can easily cut, copy, paste, etc. certain files to the other. This is media sharing capability is my main use for it, but it also works as a Wireless Router and 6000mAh External Battery. There is a connection for a RJ45 Ethernet cable and also has a battery LED indicator on the front (but from my experience, it can easily last a whole trip without a charge if you are just using it for file transfer)
The most current version of the RAVPower FileHub is available on Amazon for under $60, which is a great deal considering you can backup on the field with a device that can easily fit in a small pack or even pocket. You can also pick up the latest Samsung SSD option to pair with it.
